Dear Editor: I am writing to express my concerns and disappointment about Dr. Norman Levine's editorial comments published in the March issue of Dermatology Times ("The elephant in our living room: What is happening to dermatology?"). As co-chairman of the section on communications for the American Academy of Dermatology, no one is more acutely aware of the changing trends in dermatology than I am. Each time we consider implementing a new communications program for the academy, we must consider the interest of the entire membership.
