Unusual Case of zosteriform lichen planus presents with rare shingles-like pattern

Newport Beach, Calif. - A rare case of lichen planus - a skin condition that affects 0.22 percent to 1 percent of the adult population - took on a zosteriform distribution on the trunk of a 64-four-year-old patient who presented at the Veterans Administration hospital in New Mexico.
