Study bucks trend toward narrower melanoma excisions
London - J. Meirion Thomas, M.S., F.R.C.P., F.R.C.S., set out in a recent study to confirm that wide excision margin provides no advantage over narrow excision margin in melanoma. But, after studying 900 patients in the decade-long study, he found the opposite is true.
