New Orleans - The role of UVA radiation in generating a number of diseases is now much better understood, Robert Bissonnette, M.D., said at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology. "If you go back 10 years, we knew a lot about UVB but little about UVA. Now, we know that it can cause skin cancer in animals," he said.
