Pointers With Portela: Managing Epidermolytic Palmoplantar Keratoderma

In this week’s Pointers with Portela, the 208SkinDoc reviews a case of pediatric keratoderma.
Dustin Portela, DO, a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon at Treasure Valley Dermatology in Boise, Idaho, reviews a video of a caretaker removing epidermolytic palmoplantar keratoderma from a pediatric patient. The rare disease causes thickening of the skin on the hands and feet and can sometimes inhibit movement.
