Cleveland - The Case Western Reserve University medical school and University Hospitals Case Medical Center have received a five-year, $6.37 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to find new treatments for psoriasis, Crain’s Cleveland Business reports.

The grant, coupled with a $5 million gift Case Medical Center received last year from the Murdough Foundation for research and treatment of psoriasis, will be used to create a Center of Research Translation, where doctors, scientists, nurses and community clinicians representing various specialties will conduct the psoriasis research.
