New cell therapy effective in treating certain forms of vitiligo, study shows
Pamplona, Spain - A new technique in cell therapy is effective in treating chronic, localized and stable forms of vitiligo, according to Basque Research.

- A new technique in cell therapy is effective in treating chronic, localized and stable forms of vitiligo, according to Basque Research.
Researchers say the procedure involves transplanting epidermal cells from a pigmented area to areas on the patient that are depigmented. The team says overall success was good, with 75 percent to 100 percent repigmentation achieved.
