Dr. Burns leads ALMS for 2006
Wausau, Wisc. - A. Jay Burns, M.D., assistant professor ofplastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern MedicalSchool in Dallas, is the new president of the American Society forLaser Medicine and Surgery.

Board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery, he is in private practice at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, with offices at the Tom Landry Center and Children's Medical Center. He is a noted national and international speaker on laser and cosmetic surgery and is the director for several national laser symposia each year.
