Cholesterol in keratinocytes may be photoprotective
Los Angeles - Cholesterol, in keratinocytes, has the capacity to prevent ultraviolet A (UVA) radiation-induced gene expression, according to results of research conducted by German researcher Jean Krutmann, M.D., and colleagues.
