Chicago - Only 6 percent of the adult population in the United States has had cosmetic surgery, but almost 20 percent aspire to it, according to the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery's 2006 Consumer Perception Survey.

The two most desired celebrity features, the survey reports, are Jennifer Anniston's eyes for women (46 percent) and Nick Lachey's abdominals for men (51 percent).

Some 46 percent of consumers say they would forego an expensive vacation or a luxury car to pay for the surgery.
